Iran's Deputy Communication and Information Technology Minister Kamal Mohamedpour signed the memo with Universiti Sains Malaysia ( USM), or Malaysia Science University, in Pinang, northern Malaysia, on Tuesday.
Under the memo, the two parties will cooperate in the fields of research, teaching and human resource exchange program on ICT.
Kamal told a ceremony in Pinang that both parties would focus on joint research activities and develop publications through the research linkages of professors.
Kamal said that Iran hoped to collaborate more on ICT software engineering and human training facilities with the Malaysian university for mutual benefit and Iran was willing to render financial support for the related research.
