It was about one year ago when the process of TCI's privatization – the top Iranian Telco – was launched. Finally, last week, the details of its license's terms, which had been passed by regulatory commission last year, were released. Based on the terms of license contract, the value of Iranian companies' stock should not be less than 51%. And foreign companies are not allowed to own more than 49% of TCI stocks. Furthermore, CRA should be informed of any changes to the value of stocks – 5% or more – two months sooner, if the change affects on voting right of shareholders. It's worth noting that issuing TCI's license had been one of the challenges which delayed the offer of its stocks on the stock exchange.
