Operation contract of Iran’s third mobile operator was signed with Tamin Telecom Company.
The contract was signed in the presence of Reza Taghipour, Minister of Information and Communication Technology and Sadegh Mahsouli, Minister of Welfare and Social security. Based on the contract Tamin Telecom was selected as Iran’s third mobile operator.
Reza Taghipour, Minister of Information and Communication Technology in an interview with radio news said: “The license was issued for Tamin Shams Novin Communication Company yesterday. The company is the subsidiary of social investment organization that has covered 30 million Iranian, including working and retired employees by social security services.
According to Information and Communication Minister this license is granted to the company and its consortium and partners, and we hope that people could get the operator’s SIM cards this year.
“Iran’s Third operator will use third generation of technology, and will offer the new value added services with high bandwidth for data exchange as well as variety of electronic payment services, electronic government and commerce and electronic banking to the people”. Taghipour said.
